In the latest GSN newsletter a slide from Dr Kirsty Penkman's lecture to the Society last November was reproduced, together with some comments and extrapolations made by me. I had assumed, unjustifiably, that this information had already been published. However I was mistaken and thus may have inadvertently compromised Kirsty's ability to publish this work in a peer reviewed journal if the Newsletter is considered as prior publication.
THEREFORE ALL MEMBERS ARE ASKED TO NOT REPRODUCE THIS ILLUSTRATION IN ANY WAY.

The Society issues three newsletters
every year, in February, April, & September. This includes
reviews of books and recently published papers, a list of as
many
as possible of recently published papers relevant to East Anglian
geology, description of Field Trips, recently found web sites,
notices etc. We aim to be a useful information resource about
East Anglian geology in general. For this we rely heavily on
input
from members. Material for inclusion in the next edition is gratefully
received by the Editor; please note that the deadlines for this
are 15th January, 10th April, and 15th September.
